Uncovering the Veil…

I was at the gym when a certain lyric hit me about the third eye chakra, I was next to a girl who was wearing the niqab. I kind of put the two and two together to draw some comparisons between the two. Read at your own peril as this is just a rambling about my observations.

So covering the head creates a focus of the functional circuit of the hemispheres of the brain and tunes the neurological system. The hijab when worn properly on the head connects the arcline of the person strengthening it and acting as a container of the energy that is being raised in their practice. The arcline is a meridian that runs from earlobe to earlobe and gives the ability to focus, concentrate and also facilitate radiance. It connects and balances the connection between the universal and physical realms. When it’s weak one will find themselves easily influenced and overprotective.

My colleague and I were talking about saving money and we were discussing how to save more. We both had the same analogy when saving money the correct way. She is rather intelligent and was curious to hear what exactly would help so I have been teaching her about the transits. The financially fortunate astrological transits are useless if you maintain a mindset of lack, low self worth or greed. So working on a mentally and psychologically on the abundance factor in life before studying the transits would be key.

The best 6 financially great transits are:

1. Transit Mars conjunct Natal Sun: Brings fruitful and doable business opportunities.

2. Transit Sun conjunct Mars: Activates a dull business

3. Transit Mercury conjunct/trine Mercury: Good for stock market profits and sales

4. Transit Venus conjunct/trine Mercury: Increases sales/profits

5. Transit Venus conjunct/trine Sun or Venus: Increases cash flow for purchase of luxury items for self or for the lover/spouse.

6. Transit Mars conjunct/trine Mercury: Increases business and sales drive, helps you to communicate better for wealth.

The conversation then digressed to her believing that wearing the burqa is oppressive. I mentioned that covering of the body is not misogynistic nor is it used because men are above women or anything like that. It stems from spiritual insight that the instinct is something to be abstained from in this world and the women who wear it do it out of respect towards their male counterparts who would like to abstain without arousal. Much could be solved simply by “lowering the gaze”, but in social interactions with women it can be tricky and then some cover can help and it is not always possible to “look the other way”. Concerning the hijab, you can always reason outside of scriptures and using your own logic. Veiling can be of practical use, but that depends on ones spiritual insight and priorities in life. And one would primarily not wear it for their owns sake but make the life easier for someone else abstaining from this world.

But if we are primarily moving around in a community that does not care about triggering the instinct it does not matter if a woman wears it or not. It has to do with people's interests. Additionally it should not be enforced by law to wear it after all ones “haya” should be adjusted first accordingly. Check out how catholic nuns are dressed, infact a state in America called Nebraska banned a nun from wearing her habit in the classroom because of a one hundred-year-old law created to appease the Ku Klux Klan!

It’s all in your head …

The kundalini energy is activated by the radiant force of the solar plexus which moves upward in response to the solar energy coming down. This balances the body energy and maintains the total equilibrium. If the hair is uncovered it’s electrically imbalanced, this natural process of raising the kundalini energy will be impeded. The skull is also made up of tiny bones that are constantly moving even if only by micromillimetres (hello mewing) and the degree to which they move impacts levels of calmness or anxiety. Covering the head provides a sense of containment and focus whilst meditating.

Intellectual energy or a closed third eye will keep us trapped in the third dimension, as the third eye is the doorwary between the physical and the spiritual. In fact the third eye is no use for females anyway as only the sacral and root are needed to reach the highest form of spirituality. If we are approaching life intellectually, we will not be able to raise our frequency. Babies do not have the capacity to use their intellect hence why they use their heart to navigate through their childhood. In adulthood the majority use the intellect. Only when we have sufficiently pummeled our ego and married our right and left brain as it were will our intuition be active fully and communication with oversoul learned.

So hijabs are in particular useful for holding energy in and for creating a meditative focus at the third eye point ones space of intuition. Niqabs cover the whole forehead in turn protecting one from outside entities. You’ll also notice that men who live in Gulf countires wear different thobe styles which also all cover… the forehead!

There has been much controversy emerging around wearing the niqab/burqa especially towards the second part of the twentieth century. For some, the struggle shows secularism and freedom. For others the struggle against the attire signifies intolerance and anti Muslim sentiments. How can a Western democracy be one of the foremothers of liberalism, be so bothered about how people dress. Does this obsession come hand in hand with the value of the French Revolution? What does the struggle tell us about the place of multiculturalism in France? A curious argument in support of the burqa and niqab ban is that these forms of dress cause sensory deprivation and vitamin D deficiency from sunlight deprivation (Chesler, 2010). Sunlight?! so we are worried about people’s health and don’t need to take factors such as taking drugs, vaping, consuming alcohol, sun bathing, artificial tanning salons, watching disturbing things that lead to sleep deprivation, professional boxing, the consumption of fatty foods the list goes on…

Pallas:

Pallas is such an interesting asteroid as it goes beyond normal “mercury” mind matters. Mercury is all about organising and communicating your conscious thoughts ... but Pallas is a particular specialisation which takes intellect to a new level. It recognises patterns, and indicates an ability to take many variables and hold them steady in ones mind in order to synthesise them into a cohesive whole. Pallas Athena was the second asteroid discovered. Named after Jupiter's daughter, Pallas Athena was intelligent and cerebral. She was the weaver of patterns, linking ideas together. She was strategic command in both the warrior and the peaceful general. She was not blind justice… she is only just. She was creative and artistic and a survivor. So what does Pallas have to do with anything? Transits from Pallas or to Pallas seem to always coincide with increased "buzzing", dreams, insights/flashes/knowing seemingly from the third eye chakra and the likes in the spiritual community. And I know because Pallas is prominent in my natal. My work and routine will always be important to me infact I have been working since I was sixteen years old and no matter how late I have slept I usually wake up early due to it hitting my sixth house. Pallas rules the “third eye” and funnily the fence lizard shows how they naturally have the pineal part of the eye. The reason you don't have eyes at the back of your head is because you're not suppose to look back!

On a side note the fifth chakra is the throat chakra. And if you look at where the throat chakra is, it’s between the mind, the head - the crown chakra - the thinking part, and the rest of the body. And what it really symbolises is the connection between your thoughts what you think and your actions. So when the chakra’s fcking up like RF Kennedy Jr it shows that he’s completely disconnected from what he says and what he thinks…and what he actually does. When your actions and thoughts are incoherent = throat issues - the throat being the bridge between mind and body. Between thoughts and actions. So just an observation between my friend who has been having issues with another friend. She never gets ill and is pretty much healthy. She doesn’t get sore throats and suddenly got one. I suspected it could have been a stifling of her throat chakra manifesting as a physical ailment. Because she keeps things in and didn’t say what she needed to say. She can now feel the un-dealt-with emotional energy moving through her body instead of being directed where it “should” go. I’ve noticed so many times that people who don’t speak their “truth” or talk honestly when it’s required suffer from throat issues and lost voices, thyroid and all of the rest of it.

I almost feel like the sky and the heavens are worthy of reverence or awe because they’re metaphysical. They are the circle, the Earth is square, the physical - the mundane and thus not the immaterial, divine, circle of heaven can be recognised as God, perceivable. But then again, in the past year or so I have begun to “square the circle” and recognise that humans are a total reflection of the heavens. And thus are innately divine. No one human being more so than the other. I don’t know. I’m still figuring this stuff out but my heart knows that when someone sits down opposite me, that I’m meeting God in disguise. My mind is just trying to play catch up.

In Islam the eye is used for both the heart and secret, by the fact that, after some process, the seeker attains the status through which knowledge is acquired and he can see the unseen as if the eye of his heart or his inner eye is opened. Also, once the heart is presented with the visible, it can notsee the unseen. And until it stops seeing through the physical eye, the eye of the heart is not presented with the unseen (Mostamali Bokhari, 1984: 3/1322). The heart can only see the unseen when it stops seeing through the eye. Al-Ghazali also believed in this, because he considered it as a mirror that if all the causes of it are removed, what God has written will appear (Al-Ghazali, 2004: 3/30).

[Al-Gazali was one of the most prominent and influential philosophers, theologians, jurists, and mystics of Sunni Islam. He was known to be the most brilliant scholar in the Islamic world]

The final result of the opening of the heart is the visit of God, which goes back to Imam Ali (PBUH) who said “The eyes cannot see God clearly, but the hearts will come to him with true faith” (Shahidi, 2006: 180). Generally, talking about the eye of the heart comes with other names: the eye of the heart, the eyes of insight and the eyes of the unseen. “The heart is like a mirror that through good deeds and pure light reaches the extent that God shines through it” (Al-Ghazali, 2007: 26). I have written about the heart before which can be found here.

When a correct relationship is established between personality, operating through the pituitary body, and the soul, operating through the pineal gland, a magnetic field is created. The negative and positive forces interact and become strong enough to create the “light in the head”. With this “light in the head” activated, astral projectors can withdraw themselves from the body, carrying the light with them. To achieve this you’ll need to quieten your mind spiritually.

Himma is defined as the intention in initiating an action. It is actually having the will to complete the action. It’s an essential beginning point to do this. Psychological growth and spiritual growth go hand in hand. As one grows spiritually more light comes in and more of the dust and rust on the mirror of the heart become evident. As one does their psychological work they polish more and more of the dust off their heart and more of the light of the divine can be reflected through them. This can be achieved with Zhikr (remembrance of Allah) and working having compassion for oneself. I recently joined @Rumis Kitchen on Saturday with the most beautiful souls. This doesn’t mean to be in victim mode but quite the opposite, honoring that you deserve love, the real kind. To understand that it’s okay to be a bit broken. Not by hiding behind a façade, false emotions or even behind or a false social media profile. Letting someone love you the way that you are, flaws and all, as unattractive as you feel, and as unaccomplished as you think you are. To believe that you must hide all the parts that are broken, our of fear that someone else is incapable of loving what is less than perfect is to believe that sunlight is incapable of entering a broken window and illuminating a dark room. Loving without conditions opens the heart, helping the body to relax, seeing things that you could never see before most importantly one has a stronger faith. I have faith despite being rejected of love in all areas of my life because faith is believing the unseen…it brings me much peace to know that the only thing I can rely on is Allah (SAW). I’m currently watching a show where he’s visiting people dresssed in rags , living in ruts, made out of literal shit who have to walk for their water and eat bile for dinner. And they’re all healthy, literally beaming with joy, happy as anything, laughing their heads off and are so bubbly. I think the problem is inside…our expectations, the stories we tell ourselves. I think in the west we have this extreme taught aversion to suffering. And I think it’s destroying us. Hence why I choose not to perpetuate my victimhood thinking. Why I’ll raise a baby without this mentality. First hand creating and guiding the next generation.

You’ve become kind, that means you’re stronger. The strong are always kind”

This authenticates that Islam is not overly concerned about opening the third eye chakra but more about opening the heart for a very good reason. I don’t gel with those who completely copy and paste statements from the Qu’ran because they seem authentic, it seems more so fear and repetition to save the self from having to really face stuff. However, I absolutely love people who have gone through the absolute worst yet feel no need to quote things. Who are messy. Who don’t care about how they appear. That is really being “spiritual” not just pretending like but properly be free where everything you SAY reflects that inner sense of freedom. Aligning the throat chakras. Where the words spoken, even the words typed, carry a certain energy that reflects what’s going on internally. The energy matches. The Pallas picks up on it like antennes. Even my house mates who take Molly and other hard drugs have an open heart because what you see is what you get. Ofcourse I don’t condone taking drugs at all. It’s a “vibe” that is simply unobtainable when ones carrying such an insidious and corrupt perverse lie or are not yet properly comprehending the significance of obtaining the truth.

More attentive than any lover or parents is really God to us, but our gauge of judgement is impaired by the world’s values, and our bodies’ often dominate over our spirit realm. In fact, I ended up having a meal with my parents a couple of weeks ago and after departing it was awkward because all I wanted was a tight hug. And this is why people get pets because they feel needed, or having children. A young child first learning to walk and very likely to fall may be allowed to do so by a wise guardian or teacher if there is a soft mat beneath its body that will cushion it from harm. There is a soft rug you can place around others it is forgiveness, it is charity. We are all still learning to walk and fly in ways, kin help each other. And everything - I am related to.

A painful, traumatic past can mean we become comfortable with the role of the oppressed. And the fight to seek justice over the bad guys ir the elites is really just us playing out our trauma with out wish to solve it where we feel we can or should. Instead of where it belongs. Which is in our past which can never be changed. So instead we go on these holy crusades to save the world when it’s usually, often painfully obviously only ourselves that we need to save.

When that’s happening we end up being awkwardly contradictory and hypocrital and ignorant, especially to our own blind spots. And we externalise all the blame and responsiblity. It’s far easier, safer and more comfortable to be worried about or endlessly concerned with “the world” or the “animals” or the “children” than it is to realise you are the one that was hurt and is still hurting and maybe even now hurting others. And if you’re unable to recognise this it becomes a situation where like yesterday, the words aren’t matching the energy (throat chakra stuff). So what ends up is accumulating this stagnant energy and the person no longer able to manifest anything really. There’s obviously so much much other stuff going on behind it all. The motivation behind it drives from a tormented place rather than a truly selfless or righeous place.

I know this because when I’ve come at things because I’m overcompensating for something I’m clearly lacking in, in my life, or when I’ve gone on some sort of crusade to fix something I really just need to fix within myself or my life…it always feels empty. Any “win” is short lived and you’re left with the same empty feeling you end up having to drink out of smoke out or whatever else to fill that hole which needed to be filled with something far more honest. Blame is far easier. Makes you feel strong. And in control. Easier to ignore the reality that may suggest otherwise. I know this because I’ve been there. Meaning I recognise it. And it’s such an unpleasant vibration. Oh that “my way or the highway”, so being stubborn and rigid. It’s just about having control and we all at some point tried to control the narrative of our lives but really God has control. All those things we prayed for, in the end what we want isn’t always what we need and God knows best and will show you quite blatently whats best. Joy and bliss is definitely the state to rise and be in, because that’s God.

Life and death are so intricately intertwined and interconnected. For something to live, something must die. That seems to be nature’s resounding message. Without respecting this, the one that sacrafices it’s life (say a vegan who wants to override this truth of nature) eventually dies for it. There truly is this magnificent mythological battle happening within man between light and dark. All the time. God Vs Devil. Angel Vs Demon. Good Vs Evil. That is the force that churns the ocean so to speak. Humanity emanates from this dichotomy. The Human Condition. The more you yearn for one and reject the other, the more extreme the polarisation of the personality and the greater the tension created…which will be released at some point. And at that point you will sense that something is off because of the two extreme energies causing friction will clearly be shown in the individuals behaviour, most likely when talking about God. Because God is the middle way. The heart. What we all came here to learn. The most beautiful journey of it all.

I have not had the opportunity to experience Hajj yet so I am making the most of Dhul Al Hajj where fasting on Mondays and Thursday has come into good use because “each day of fasting in it is equivalent to the fast of an entire year. And each night standing in prayer is equivalent to standing in prayer on the Night of Power” . Everything is a test of faith, all is part of the journey, this life is your chance, this life is your greatest opportunity to alchemise your soul. Every single thing you know about God is in your heart it’s not in scripture. And what strengthens your heart- what strengthens your belief is your confidence. Your own heart. And on that note I’m out of here!
